New contracts for older stories

Bit by bit, story by story, I’m getting my backlist out there again. The latest, Silences of Fallen Stars, came out September 3 at JMS Books, and there’s one a month through the rest of the year. I also just signed contracts for fiveĀ others, fourĀ that were orphaned after Amber Quill closed and one that I got the rights back from Ellora’s Cave. Loose Id will be publishing my m/m/f menage, Enthralled in Silver, while MLR accepted Against a Wounded Landscape, Anomalies, Iron Eyes, and Threshold. There’s only one more story that I’ve submitted that I’m waiting to hear back on, but so far, fifteen have found new homes again.

I’m not done, though. I have four novels that I’m still trying to decide what to do with and twenty stories that I’ve decided to self-publish. That’s just for my solo work. I don’t know what’s happening with the Jamie Craig stories. I need to reach out to Pepper before any decision can be made there which will likely wait until I don’t have as much on my plate.

It would be nice to start writing new stuff soon, wouldn’t it? The way things are going, though, that might not happen until 2017.

But it will still happen. That, I guarantee.
